UV Lamps

UV lamps installed in HVAC System are one of the most effective tools for indoor air quality improvement. They'll kill organic growths, such as mold or bacteria, they kill germs, spores and by doing so they reduce a lot of common allergens. UV lamps attack and kill mold and bacteria that can grow on the cooling coil of many HVAC systems, preventing it from circulating through the home.

HVAC UV lights usually installed directly in the air handler, but in addition to the air handler uv lapms also can be installed in the air return or in strategic areas throughout the ductwork.

The UV-C is the active part of the light; it has been shown to kill 99.9 percent of the molds over a one to two hours period.
